Metal Tube Piezoelectric Motor

Micromechatronics, Inc has designed two different ultrasonic motors;

1) a ring piezoelectric motor

2) a metal tube piezoelectric motor (diameter of 1.5 mm). 

Micromechatronics, Inc. working in conjunction with the International Center of Actuators and Transducers at Pennsylvania State University has developed the Metal Tube Motor.  This motor is ten times smaller than other ultrasonic motors with comparable power.
